Abstract

Introduction
This review synthesises the results of qualitative studies on the use of AI in medical education
Methods and tools
The review is based on a systematic review of qualitative studies, that were synthesised with the meta-ethnographic method.
Results
Eighteen selected articles resulted in five themes: convenience of AI, resemblance to reality of AI, critical understanding of users of AI, dialogic and social nature of AI, multidisciplinarity as an environment of design.
Discussion
The use of AI in education is still in its preliminary stage. This review support some paths of research.
